Share It.

One of the favorite lines of Facebook is "share if..."  Realizing that people have used something years ago prompts them to advocate more and more sharing which at some point someone will declare that it has gone viral.  If you know how to use a rotary telephone then share it.  If you have ever used a singer sewing machine, then share it.  If you have ever used a dimmer switch on the floorboard of a car, then share it.  The list goes on and on of things that we are prompted to "share."   One thing I haven't seen is, "If you have been saved, share it."  Now, that's one that would be worth sharing.  In fact, Acts 1:8 says, " But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Couple that with the great commission of Matthew 28 and the hymn, "I love to tell the story" and you have a message worth sharing.  The account of the events in Acts 1 are amazing.  We have the final words of the Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples, which, by the way, includes us.  The list just keep growing and since we are born again, we have the power of the Holy Spirit and are able to "share" the message of salvation.  If God answers prayer, then share it.  If God has done something miraculous to you or for you, then share it.  If God has given you an example of His creative power, then share it.  John began his first epistle with the words, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."  He said, "...declare we unto you."  That's the old fashioned way of saying,"share it."  We all know that God has done something mighty in our lives and we all know that God commanded us to "share it."  So praise God today about something that He has done in your life.  Who knows?  It might just "go viral."
