Hi. My name is Daniel Freeland and I reside in Roanoke, Virginia with my wife Diana. We have been here since my "semi retirement" in 2005. It seems that I am preaching more now than I did during my ministry. I began writing a devotional in 1999 for college students that were from our church in Parkersburg, West Virginia. It was a Monday through Friday devotional with a prayer list and a calendar of events to keep the students aware of what was going on in the church. Over the years, it has grown to the point of reaching about 50 different people, but some of them keep forwarding the devotion on to others so we don't really know where it goes once it leaves the web page. Through the years, there has been over 4,000 written and one book came out of it in 2006 called, "Encouragement on the Road of Life."
